We are offering this very well executed still life Oil on Canvas laid down, which is by an unknown artist. The painting depicts a selection of items, including a chased silver tazza, a very tall glass of wine, an embrossed pottery vessel with pewter lid and a selection of fruit. There are bunches of grapes, some almonds, a plum, some raspberries, and some gooseberries.

As there is no signature, we can offer no further information about the artist, but it is possible that he or she came from Eastern Europe as there is a great tradition of still life painting in Hungary.

The painting is newly framed in a 3" gilt frame and will be supplied wired and ready to hang.
