Description

We are offering for sale this very well made Golden Oak Window Seat with pale blue upholstery. The seat was made by a Cabinet Maker by the name of Reginald J. Chopping of Eastbourne. It has tapering legs, each side having a rebated section and spade feet and is made in the Edwardian style. It is upholstered in a duck egg blue moire patterned fabric and the inside of each arm is buttoned with matching self-covered buttons.

Mr. Chopping was born in Poplar, London in 1932 and apparently still resides in Eastbourne, although is presumably retired. The Seat bears his manufacturers label.
