We are offering for sale this beautiful Edwardian oval pastel of a young lady. This is a bust length portrait. The subject has her mid brown hair parted in the middle and pulled back unto a soft knot at the nape of her neck. She is wearing a dress of coral fabric, with oversleeves and a white lace collar with black ribbon. She has a sweet face and a pensive expression. The pastel has an almost pre-Raphaelite look.

Unfortunately, the portrait is unsigned, so we can offer no biographical information, but is a lovely study and very well executed.

The pastel is framed in a 2" pale gilt frame with cream inner rim and will be supplied wired and ready to hang.
