Description

We are offering this lovely pair of Victorian Gilt Brass 3 Branch Candelabra. Their bases are breakfront and rectangular, flaring out from a rectangular plinth, terminating in four ribbed feet. The bases are swagged around the top, with a decoration of crossed flaming forches above a foliate section which extends over the edge of the base at front and back. Mounted on the base is a circular socle, above which are two scrolls with bacchanalian masks to the outside. The two side branches are decorated with leaves and bunches of grapes, and both they and the central arm have decorative sconces and drip pans.

Condition: Very good, with only very minor wear to the gilding, consistent with age.
