Description

We are offering this lovely Edwardian 3 trumpet Cut Glass and Silver Plate Epergne, which would make a beautiful centrepiece for a dining or Christmas table. The silver plated base has the form of a branch, with three spiral tendrils, which hold the three cut glass trumpets securely. The base bears the Registered Design No. 381646, which dates it to late 1901, just into the Edwardian period.

The individually hand formed trumpets have a cut, hatched arch pattern around their stem and a pattern around the top rim, as shown.

Condition: Excellent. The glass trumpets are in perfect condition. There appears to be no wear to the silver plate, except slightly in a couple of places on the underneath of the branch, where it has rested
