Description

We are offering for sale this beautifully executed still life oil on board by the artist PAMELA DAVIS, who has signed the painting in the lower left hand corner. The painting depicts a study of pink and white carnations in a pale gold coloured bowl. As is usual with her floral paintings, the work is executed with painstaking attention to detail.

PAMELA DAVIS studied at Twickenham School of Art and is a Member of the Society of Woman Artists and a Member of the Royal Miniature Society. She won the Gold Memorial Bowl of the Royal Miniature Society in 1991. She lives or lived in Sunbury on Thames, Middlesex. As all our reference books only go up to 1940, we have been unable to discover further biographical or exhibition details for her.

There are a few auction results available for her work, including 5 at artprice.

The painting is framed in its original 2 1/2" gilt frame with green insert and will be supplied wired and ready to hang.
