Solid Silver Rare to find Double-end Sovereign Box
Full Hallmarks for London 1852
Very well Hallmarked under the lids and around the rim
Made in Early-Victorian times with by London Silversmith Thomas Edwards
The box is still in excellent condition with lovely engraved pattern
Inside the box has a gilt lining
Both box hinges all fine no damage or repairs
Good weight of silver 36grams Size 3 cms high x 2.3/4 across
The top of the lid with flower pattern around the edge and scrolled initials J H
I have shown with a Gold Sovereign to show they fit in the top and bottom, would say it holds 6 Full Sovereigns, SOVEREIGN IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE
