Description

Late 18 century Spanish throwing knife . 1803/08 a type of knife made in Albacete particularly associated with basque resistance during Spanish alliance with napoleon 03/08. As you would expect it has suffered some damage a lump is missing from the hilt and the blade has a very light kink at the end but you have to look hard. “ the end of the blade is not a cutting edge it’s round sharp point just like a dart “. The hilt made of bone with a well shaped cross guard. The whole thing balances well as a throwing knife should.great historic weapon
