Description

This is a very rare black Forest hanging carved wood and rams horn chandelier, the body is carved and painted wood it has a fantastic aged patina , it would originally had a lamp hanging from his hand now missing along with his thumb, the feet / are in fact rams horns . It dates I guess from about the mid 19 century but they do date back much earlier and they are reproduced but this is no reproduction. All we have done to this is give it a good dust it’s been left as we found it we thought we would leave any restoration to the buyer.
