Description

Artist - Kurt Meyer-Eberhardt (1895-1977), a German artist well-known for his portraits of animals.

Details - Hand-coloured etching of a fox cub. Signed by the other just below the plate mark and numbered #198 at the bottom of the sheet. There is a blind stamp to the bottom of the sheet for Hanfstaengl Druck. Unframed.

Condition - Overall in good condition. The paper is tanned with age and there are a few slight marks and some minor foxing (brown spotting). Please note that the etching will be sent rolled in a tube and so may arrive slightly curved.

The approx. measurements are as follows:
Sheet - 52cm by 37cm.
