Description

This antique easel mirror dates from the second half of the nineteenth century. It is rectangular in shape with a painted wooden frame - the paintwork has some considerable age but we are not sure whether it is original. It retains its original mirrored glass.

Condition: Overall this mirror does does have some wear consistent with age and use and would benefit from some sympathetic restoration. The mirror glass has some significant dark corrosion specks and marks. The painted frame has some scuffing, grubbbiness and wear and some shrinkage cracking. It has some significant loss in places. The easel stand is missing its stay, which requires replacement.

The approx. measurements are as follows:
Frame - 62cm high, 45cm wide, 3cm deep (to maximums).
