Description

This lovely wall mirror dates primarily from the second half of the nineteenth century, although it has undergone some restoration and the the mirrored glass is probably a later a replacement. The deep shaped framed has lovely bird's eye maple veneers. The mirrored glass is bevel-edged. It is designed to be hung on a wall and retains more modern fixings on the back

Condition: Overall this lovely mirror is in good usuable condition, but does have some wear consistent with age and use. The woodwork has some fading, scuffing and wear as might be expected and there is some shrinkage cracking to the corners. The mirror has some significant signs of restoration - we believe the mirrored glass to be a more recent replacement and the mirror also looks to have had a new back panel. There is some surface scratching and spotting to the mirrored glass.

The approx. measurements are as follows:
Overall - 97cm high, 76cm wide, 3.5cm deep (to maximums).
