Description

This lovely antique tilt-top table looks to date from the early ninteenth century. It is of superb quality. The table is constructed from solid flame mahogany with lovely hand carving to the table edge and legs. The table top is oval and it sits on a tripod base.

Condition: Overall this handsome piece is in good usuable condition with some wear consistent with age and use. There is some scuffing and wear to the woodwork as might be expected and the piece is overall a little faded. There is an indentation and patch of discolouration to the top. The table is solid with only minimal movement in the joints. The table shows some signs of restoration and repair and the catch has some loss and the spring inside is worn.

Overall - 71cm high (down), 106cm high (tilted), 64cm wide, 53cm deep (to maximums).
