Description

This attractive chaise dates from the early twentieth century. It has an oak show frame with a shaped back rail. The chaise is supported on tall turned legs which terminate in metal and ceramic castors. It has a nice style and shape, but would benefit from re-upholstery.

Condition: Overall this chaise is in usuable condition, but does have some wear consistent with age and use and would benefit from some tlc. The frame is scuffed and worn and there is some slight movement in the joints. The back rail is a little loose. Some of legs have some wood shrinkage splitting at the bottom. The upholstery is dated, grubby and worn, and some of the braiding is missing.

Overall - 72.5cm high, 165cm long, 66cm wide (to maximums) 41cm high to seat.
