Title - Dr Anna Kingsford

Details - Oil on canvas portrait painting of Dr Anna Kingsford (1848-1888), an early female doctor and an advocate of vegetarianism. We believe the portrait to have been painted after her death. Signed by the artist on the front. Framed in a period gilt frame.

Condition - Overall in good condition with some wear consistent with age. The painting has some grubbiness, rubbing and wear and some marks. It would benefit from a clean. The frame has some grubbiness, rubbing and wear and some chipping and small losses.

Frame - 86.5cm by 76cm, 7cm deep.
