Description

This attractive draw-leaf table dates from the first-half of the twentieth century. It is constructed from solid oak with a refectory-style base and a draw-leaf top which pulls out at each side to extend. The uprights of the base have carved decoration to the edges and lovely carved serpent shoulders (please note that one of the four serpents is missing).

Condition: Overall this handsome piece is in usuable condition but does have some wear consistent with age and use and would benefit from some tlc. The table top is a little wobbly and the leaves are slightly warped (curved) at the ends. One of the carved serpent shoulders is missing. There is some scuffing and wear to the woodwork as might be expected and the piece is overall faded. There is some staining and water marking to the top. There is shrinkage cracking to the top.

The approx. measurements are as follows:
Overall - 74.5cm high, 91.5cm wide, 104.5cm long (closed), 180cm long (extended) (to maximums).
