Description

This attractive antique cupboard dates from c.1880. It is constructed from what we believe to be mostly solid mahogany. The cupboard has two doors, each with a carved panel in the centre, that open to reveal a single fixed wooden shelf inside. The cupboard retains its lock and handle, but please note that no key is present. It is supported on a plinth base.

Condition: Overall this handsome piece is in good usuable condition with some wear consistent with age and use. There is some scuffing and wear to the woodwork as might be expected and the piece is overall a little faded. There is some heavy scuffing to the top, and there is a small area of wood loss to the side of one of the doors (near the lock). No key is present. There is some staining inside the cupboard.

The approx. measurements are as follows:
Overall - 86.5cm high, 108cm wide, 51.5cm deep (to maximums).
