Description

This attractive antique chest of drawers dates from the late ninteenth century. It is constructed from mostly solid mahogany. The chest consists of two small drawers over three long drawers, the bottom of which is a deep linen drawer. The drawers have turned wooden handles. They retain their escutcheons, but only some of the drawers retain their locks and please note that no key is present.

Condition: Overall this handsome piece is in good usuable condition with some wear consistent with age and use. There is some scuffing, scratching, marking and wear to the woodwork as might be expected and the piece is overall faded. The top has some quite significant marking and identation. There is some loss to some of the cock-beading around the drawers. Some of the drawer locks are missing and no key is present.

The approx. measurements are as follows:
Overall - 105cm high, 107.5cm wide, 51.5cm deep (to maximums).
