Description

This lovely antique library table dates from the late nineteenth century. It was made by Trapnell & Gane andd retains its maker's plaque underneath. It is of lovely quality. The table is constructed from solid golden oak with canted corners and tramline decoration. It has a dark green inset leather top with blind-stamped tooling around the edges. The piece is supported on turned legs terminating in brass and ceramic castors, one of which is replacement.

Condition: Overall this handsome piece is in good usuable condition with some wear consistent with age and use. There is some scuffing, scratching and wear to the woodwork as might be expected and the piece is overall a little faded. There is some wear and indenation to the leather writing surface. One of the castors is a replacement.

Overall - 75cm high, 114.5cm wide, 106cm deep (to maximums).
