Description

This set of six rush-seated dining chairs date from the first half of the twentieth century, but are older in style. They have solid oak frames with shaped ladder backs and are supported on turned legs with turned stretchers. They retain their original rush seats which are in good condition. However please note that the chairs are in need of some restoration - the frames have some damage and movement and one is missing the top of its back rail.

Condition: Overall this is a nice set of chairs, but they are in need of some restoration work. The frames are scuffed, worn and faded and have some damage. One has a broken back rail, one has a repaired back rail, and one has the top portion of the top back rail broken and missing. There are some marks and stains. There is some movement in the joints and some of the stretchers are loose. There is some wear to the rush seats.

The approx. measurements are as follows:
Overall - 96.5cm high, 45cm wide, 43cm deep (to maximums) 44cm high to seat.
