Description

This usual item is a novelty pipe, which dismantles to form a champagne bottle. There are four pieces in total. The pipe is made primarily from wood with a black (possibly painted) finish and metal fixings. Stamped into the front is 'Austrian-Exhibition London 1906'. The Austrian Exhibition was held at Earl's Court from June until October 1906.

Condition: Overall in good condition with some wear consistent with age. It does not appear to have been used as a pipe. It has some scratching, denting and wear as might be expected and the metal fixings have some surface corrosion in places.

The approx. measurements are as follows:
12cm long (as pipe), 13cm high (as bottle).
