Description

This attractive piece of architectural salvage is an antique drain hopper, but it would make a lovely garden planter. It is constructed from cast iron and has two hearts cast into the front. It has a rope twist effect rim. There are no maker's marks. The paintwork is old and the piece retains its drain spout. There are two fixing holes in the back.

Condition: Overall this handsome piece is in good conditio, but does have the wear consistent with age and use that might be expected of a piece of antiquue architectural salvage. It has some rusting and corrosion and the paintwork is cracked and flaking. It is overall grubby.

The approx. measurements are as follows:
Overall - 13cm high (excluding spout), 61.5cm wide, 16cm deep (to maximums).
