Victorian Folding Oak Boot Jack Pull

Description

This nice antique boot jack is made from solid wood, probably oak. It has a folding design with turned uprights and a turned handle. It dates from around the 1880s. The boot jack is marked along the bottom edge 'NOSL Maker F2 8515'.

Condition: Overall in good usuable condition with some wear consistent with some wear consistent with age and use. The woodwork is scuffed, scratched and worn as might be expected from an antique country piece and there is some wood loss and minor indentation. There is a wooden plug (over the screw) missing at one side.

The approx. measurements are as follows:
