Description

This set of four matching matchbox holders are made from sterling silver and are fully hallmarked to one side for London 1939. They have the maker's mark for Goldsmiths and Silversmiths and are also marked 'Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co. Ltd. 112 Regent St. W.' along one side edge. The matchbox holders have a nice simple classic design. Together they weigh approx. 70g (2.25ozt).

Condition: Please note that one of the matchbox holders is damaged. It is badly dented and squashed. All the matchbox holders have some surface scratching and wear and some tarnishing. All have some minor indentations to the edges. The marks are a little rubbed in places.

The approx. measurements are as follows:
4.5cm by 3cm 1.5cm deep.
