Description

This attractive small table is an original Victorian silver table, originally designed to for use in displaying silver and other finery. It would make a nice hall or occasional table. The table dates from the late nineteenth century and is constructed from what we believe to be solid mahogany. It has a lovely shaped fretwork gallery and a blind fretwork shaped apron beneath the top. The table has elegant square taping legs with tramline decoration.

Condition: Overall this handsome piece is in good usuable condition with some wear consistent with age and use. There is some scuffing and wear to the woodwork as might be expected and the piece is overall a little faded. The top has some scratching and slight indentations. There are some signs of old repair, including to the frework gallery and some areas of minor wood loss.
