Description

This attractive antique Victorian piano stool dates from the mid-nineteenth century. It has what we believe to be a mahogany frame with a bulbous tripod base and decorative swept legs. It has short back rail. The stool has a button-upholstered seat which is height adjustable by twisting it round.

Condition: Overall this stool is in usuable condition, but does have some wear consistent with age and use and would benefit from some tlc. The seat is wobbly on the base, and would benefit from restoration. There is some scuffing and wear to the woodwork as might be expected and the stool is overall a little faded. There is a wood shrinkage crack to the finial on the base. The upholstery is not original, and is dated and a little worn.

Overall - 66cm high (minimum), 38cm wide, 43cm deep (to maximums) 50cm high to seat (minimum).
