Description

This lovely vintage bear has no maker's marks or labels, but we believe him to be a Steiff bear. He has dark brown mohair fur, felt feet pads, glass eyes, black claw stitching and a black-stitched nose and mouth. He is fully jointed and hard stuffed. He has a squeaker inside his chest that is no longer operative. He is wearing a yellow ribbon around his neck that is a later addition. We would estimate him to date from the 1950s/60s.

Condition: Overall in good condition with some playwear consistent with age. His mohair fur is thinning with some balding patches. One eye is slightly lower than the other. As is mentioned above the squeaker inside his chest is no longer operative.

The approx. measurements are as follows:
18cm high.
