Description

Artist - After Pieter Bruegel the Elder (c.1525-1569), a Renaissance painter and print-maker from the Netherlands.

Title - Der Winter - Hunters in the Snow

Details - Framed print by the German firm Piper-Druck. Retains their paper label below. We would estimate it to date from the mid-twentieth century. Framed in a wooden gilt and black painted glazed frame.

Condition - Overall in good condition with good colours. The white surround of the print is a little discoloured. The print has some scuffing at the bottom to one side. The frame has some wear and damage. It is overall grubby and scuffed with some splitting to the corners and some splintering to one side at the front.

The approx. measurements are as follows:

Frame - 106cm by 82.5m, 4cm deep.
