Description

This cigarette box has a sterling silver outer and a cedar-wood lined interior. It has a hinged lid. The piece is fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1907, with the maker's mark for A. & J. Zimmerman.

Condition: Overall in good condition with some wear consistent with age. The lid does not quite sit flush with the base. The silver outer has some dents and knocks and a small split to one corner of the front of the lid. The hallmarks are rubbed, but legible. There is a grubby mark to the cedar wood lining inside.

The approx. measurements are as follows:
11.2cm by 8.5cm, 4.5cm high.
