Description

This attractive sideboard is unmarked. It is very much in the 1960s retro Danish style. It is constructed from what we believe to be primarily solid rosewood, althoough please note that we are not 100% of the wood type. The sideboard has three sliding doors with inset handles. The central and right-hand side cupboards have a single fixed wooden shelf inside. The left-hand side cupboard has two graduated drawers at the top, the top of which has a lined base. It is supported on short rectangular legs with high front to back stretchers.

Condition: Overall this handsome piece is in good usuable condition with some wear consistent with age and use. There is some scuffing and wear to the woodwork as might be expected and the piece is overall a little faded, with some more significant fading to the back. There is some light scratching and marking to the top and a small area of wood loss at the back of the top. There are some signs of old restoration and repair to two of the doors at the top.
