Description

This set of six Royal Worcester coffee cups and saucers are stamped in pink with the Royal Worcester mark on the bottoms and have the date code for 1924. They are porcelain with lovely delicate cobalt blue and gilt decoration. They are contained within their original fitted case.

Condition There is unfortunately some damage. All the cups are in good condition with some rubbing and wear to the gilding in places. All the pieces having some crazing. Four of the saucers are damaged. Three have hairline cracks, and one has been broken and repaired and restored at some point. The case is scuffed, grubby and worn and has some splitting to the lid. The interior is discoloured and stained and both the stays are broken. It is patchily faded with old tape marks and is scuffed, worn and stained, including a large brown stain to the velvet.

Cup - 5cm high
Saucer - 9.5cm diameter.
