Victorian Mahogany Torchere on Tri-Form Base

Description

This lovely antique torchere is made from dense mahogany and dates from c.1850. It has a lovely design with decorative carvings and mouldings. It has a dish top, a reeded central column and is supported on a tri-form base with scrolled feet and carved shoulders. It is of superb quality.

Condition Overall this handsome piece is in good usuable condition, with some wear consistent with age and use. There is some scuffing and wear to the woodwork as might be expected, and the piece is overall a little faded. There is some scratching and marking to the top.

Overall - 136cm high, 25cm diameter of top (to maximums).
