Description

This attractive table is constructed from solid oak and dates from the first half of the twentieth century, although it is older in style. It would make a lovely side table, hall table or writing table. The table is nicely made. The top has a shaped edge and the legs and stretchers have chamfered outer edges. There are two drawers beneath the top which retain their original brass handles. The drawers retain their original locks, but please note that the escutcheons are missing and no key is present. The table is supported on square legs with stretchers in between.

Condition Overall this handsome piece is in good usuable condition, with some wear consistent with age and use. There is some scuffing and wear to the woodwork as might be expected, and the piece is overall a little faded. As is mentioned above the drawer escutcheons are missing.

The approx. measurements are as follows
Overall - 76.5cm high, 122cm wide, 59.5cm deep (to maximums) 60cm high to bottom rail (underneath drawers).
