Description

This lovely antique pembroke table has a beautiful satinwood finish with what what we believe to be ebony and rosewood inlay. It is regency in style, but we believe it to be late nineteenth century in date although it could be earlier. It has a drop-leaf at either side, each of which is supported on two pull-out wooden arms. The leaves have shaped edges, and the top is cross-banded with shaped inlay. The table is supported on elegant tapering inlaid legs terminating in shaped feet.

Condition Overall this handsome piece is in good usuable condition, with some wear consistent with age and use. There is some scuffing and wear to the woodwork as might be expected, and the piece is overall a little faded. One of the leaves is very slightly warped and the other leaf has a an area of damage to the veneer. There are some signs of old restoration.

The approx. measurements are as follows
Overall - 75cm high, 49.5cm wide (closed), 86cm wide (open), 72.5cm deep (to maximums).
