Description

This lovely hand-painted tall glass water jug dates from around the middle of the twentieth century. It has gilt decoration and lovely hand-painted green and white flowers. It has a lovely elegant shape. There are no maker's marks.

Condition Overall in good condition with some wear consistent with age and use. The jug is a little grubby. There is a chip and crack to the handle where it is attached to the body at the top - this was possibly done at the time of manufacture, but we are not sure of this. There is some wear and scratching to the gilt decoration in places and some slight wear to the paintwork.

40.5cm high 13.5cm diameter of base 8cm diameter of top.
