Description

This attractive vitrine dates from c.1900-1910. It has a solid mahogany frame with lovely blind fretwork to the top. The vitrine is glazed to the top and sides and has a red velvet-lined inner base. It has a hinged lift-up lid. The vitrine is supported on elegant tapering legs with a swept x-frame stretcher in between. The vitrine retains its lock, but please note that no key is present.

Condition Overall this handsome piece is in good usuable condition with some wear consistent with age and use. There is some scuffing and wear to the woodwork as might be expected and the piece is overall a little faded. The velvet lining has some wear and discolouration.
