Description

This attractive antique country breakfast table dates from c.1810 and is constructed from solid oak. It has a round planked top, a turned central pedestal and a tripod base. The top can be tilted. It would make a nice small dining table.

Condition Overall this handsome piece is in good usuable condition, with some wear consistent with age and use. There is some scuffing, knocking and wear to the woodwork as might be expected and the table is overall faded, particularly to the top. The top has some ring marks, scratches and dents, and there is some wood shrinkage cracking between the planks that shows some signs of old repair. The table tilt-top catch is a replacement and is missing one screw. The top when open is slightly wobbly.

The approx. measurements are as follows
Overall -70.5cm high (open), 116cm high (tilted), 85cm diameter (table top) (to maximums).
