Description

This lovely antique extending dining table dates from the second half of the nineteenth century. It is constructed primarily from solid mahogany. The table is rectangular in shape with rounded edges. It retains two leaves, which look to be original, and they are inserted by pulling the table apart. The table is supported on lovely reeded legs terminating in castors. It retains its brass clips and bespoke-made raisers to fit underneath the castors.

Condition: Overall this handsome piece is in good usuable condition with some wear consistent with age and use. There is some scuffing and wear to the woodwork as might be expected and the piece is overall a little faded. There is some scratching and marking to the top, including a heavy scrape to one side.

The approx. measurements are as follows:
Overall - 70.5cm high (not including raisers), 120cm wide, 238cm long (fully extended) (to maximums).
