Description

This antique Pembroke table is in the regency style, but looks to be a Victorian piece dating from the late nineteenth century. It is constructed from mahogany with satinwood inlays and a cross-banded top. It has a shaped drop-flap at either side which are supported on a pull-out wooden arms. It has a drawer underneath the top with a matching faux drawer at the other side. The drawer retains its handles, lock and escutcheons but please note that no keys are present. The table is supported on tapering legs.

Condition: Overall this handsome piece is in good usuable condition with some wear consistent with age and use. There is some scuffing, knocking and wear to the woodwork as might be expected, and the piece is overall faded. There are some signs of old woodworm underneath - this is not active but has been retreated as a precaution. There are some areas of minor loss veneers.

74cm high, 104cm long (extended), 51cm long (closed), 88.5cm deep (to maximums).
