Description

This antique kneehole desk looks to date from around the turn of the twentieth century. It is constructed from solid mahogany and is nicely made, although it would benefit from some restoration work. The desk has two drawers beneath the top, with a bank of three graduated drawers beneath at either side. There is a small cupboard at the back of the kneehole, and the desk is supported on a plinth base. All the drawers retain handles and locks, but please note that no keys are present.

Condition: Overall this piece is in usuable condition, but does have some heavy wear consistent with age and use and would benefit from some restoration work. There is some scuffing, scratching, knocking and wear to the woodwork as might be expected, which is heavy in places, and the piece is overall faded. There are some areas of wood and veneer loss. No keys are present.

The approx measurements are as follows:
82cm high, 123.5cm wide, 53cm deep (to maximums).
