Description

This set of four chairs look to date from the first half of the twentieth century and are very much in the art deco style. They have been more recently renovated and reupholstered in a red oxblood leather with studwork decoration. The chairs are supported on turned legs at the front and swept legs at the back. There is a renovator's sticker on the underneath.

Condition: Overall this attractive set of chairs are in good usuable condition with some wear consistent with age and use. There is some scuffing and wear to the later leather upholstery as might be expected. There is some scuffing and wear to the wooden frames and legs, which is heavy in places. The chairs are solid with only minimal movement in the joints. The stuffing has moved in the sets and they are not very well padded.

81cm high, 51cm wide, 49cm deep (to maximums) 45cm high to seat.
