Description

This antique hall table dates from the second half of the nineteenth century. It is very much in the aesthetic style with an ebonised finish and gilt highlights. It is constructed from what we believe to be solid mahogany with tramline decoration to the shoulders and rail beneath the top. The table has turned supports to the side rail. It is supported on ring-turned legs terminating in metal and ceramic castors. There are no maker's marks or labels, but it is a nicely made piece.

Condition: Overall this is an attractive piece but please note that it is in need of some tlc. There is some heavy scratching, scuffing, knocking and wear to the finish. One of the shoulders is loose and requires repair. One of the legs is broken at the bottom and has had a basic repair, but this requires attention. There are some areas of wood loss and some areas of old repair.

The approx measurements are as follows:
74.5cm high, 99cm wide, 52.5cm deep (to maximums).
