Maker Royal Dux

Item Porcelain figurine of an eastern man with a water jug

Details Matt finished. Marked with the pink Royal Dux triangle underneath. Also stamped 'Czechoslovakia' in green (we think - this is difficult to read). The model number 1444 is impressed into the underneath. We are unusure of the date of the figurine, but we would estimate it to date from the 1930s.

Condition Very good condition, no crazing or cracking. There is some rubbing and wear to the paintwork, especially to the end of his nose. Some surface grubbiness. There are a few nibbles / tiny chips around the bottom of the base.

19.5cm high.
