Photos

Description

This lovely revolving canterbury dates from c.1910 and is constructed from solid mahogany. It has a shaped top with decorative turned supports and is supported on three turned columns which terminate in a tri-footed base with claw feet and carved shoulders. It would make a nice small bookcase or magazine rack. The piece splits in two to aid with transportation.

Condition Overall this handsome piece is in good usuable condition, with some wear consistent with age and use. There is some light scuffing and wear to the woodwork as might be expected, and the piece is overall slightly faded. There is some wood loss to the top of the central column and to one of the supports, and there some signs of old repair.

The approx. measurements are as follows
Overall - 78cm high, 46cm diameter of top (to maximums).
