Thomas Goode George V Silver Jubilee Glass Tazza

1 of 4
Description
Maker Thomas Goode & Co. Ltd.Item Commemorative Cut Glass Tazza. Made to commemorate the Silver Jubilee of George V in 1935.
Details Beautiful etched glass decoration. Supported on a pedestal base, which has Peace, Faith, Justice and Wisdom around the bottom. Beneath the bowl is a sealed chamber containing a solid silver commemorative coin, which is fully hallmarked. The piece is engraved with the maker's mark to the base and is numbered 19. We believe that this indicates that it was part of a limited edition.
Condition Very good condition. Overall a little grubby with some scratching to the base. There is a tiny nibble / chip to one of the bottom corners and a small scratch near the rim on the outside. No further chips, cracks or crazing. The silver coin has a small area of corrosion. Some flaws in the glass.
The approx. measurements are as follows
11.5cm high 12cm diameter.
