Small Mahogany Leather-Topped Kneehole Desk

Description

This attractive kneehole desk is antique and Georgian in style, but is a reproduction piece dating from within the last forty years. The desk is mahogany finished and has a green leather-topped writing surface. Underneath the writing surface there are two longer drawers, each with three smaller drawers beneath. Recessed in the centre is a single-door cupboard, which retains its lock and key (although the lock is missing its escutcheon). The drawers retain their decorative metal handles. The dest is supported on shaped bracket feet.

There is some scuffing and some quite heavy wear and fading to the leather. There are a couple of marks and scrapes to the wooden surround of the top of the desk.
