Description

This lovely antique elbow chair dates from c.1910. It would make a lovely desk chair. The chair has an oak frame, an over-upholstered seat and an button-backed upholstered back rail. It has turned back supports, and is supported on turned front legs that terminate in replacement ceramic and brass castors and shaped back legs. The upholstery has brass studwork around the edges. The chair has been re-upholstered at some point in red leather.

It shows some signs of restoration and has been reupholstered at some point. There is some wear, fading and scuffing to the woodwork as might be expected. The upholstery has some scuffing and wear, including a heavy scuff to the seat, but has no rips or tears. There are some white paint flecks to the upholstery.
