Description

This attractive antique wardrobe dates from c.1910. It is constructed from solid mahogany with lovely inlaid panels to either side and string inlay around the edges. The wardrobe has a mirrored-door with an oval bevel-edged mirror, which opens to reveal a full-width hanging rail with four hooks behind. The hanging rail itself also retains four hooks. The wardrobe has a full-width drawer beneath. It is supported on four square legs with shaped shoulders (one shoulder at the front is missing). The drawer retains its metal handles and lock, but is missing its escutcheon. The wardrobe door retains its decorative escutcheon, but the lock has been tampered with meaning that it does not catch. Please note that no key is present.
