Fabulous Victorian mahogany pedestal writing desk with gallery top. The desk can be separated into 3 sections for easy transportation into and around the home. The top section has a fantastic tooled leather insert / writing surface and three drawers in the frieze. The pedestals each have three graduated drawers and a plinth base. All the drawers run smooth, constructed with dovetail joints and have wonderful flame mahogany veneers. Like all antique furniture there are some imperfections which reflect only its long history and generations of caring use but nothing unpleasant or affecting use, only adding charm. This is a handsome desk of wonderful proportions with ample storage, the perfect addition to any home / office.
