Description

This beautifully carved French walnut armchair is in excellent antique condition. Its tall backrest is richly decorated with floral and scroll motifs, framed by finely carved faces at the corners. The back is divided into graceful arches, each accented with turned spindles and finials. A supple brown leather seat, free from blemishes, contrasts elegantly with the warm walnut frame. The turned legs and carved stretchers not only provide strength but also echo the decorative detailing, making the chair both sturdy and striking. Like all antique furniture, it bears the marks of age, yet it remains a solid and practical piece. With its deep patina and elaborate carving, this armchair captures the essence of French craftsmanship and adds a bold accent to any interior.
